I was able to work with Poudre Fire Authority's A-Shift Battalion Chiefs to photograph the people under the helmet. Battalion Chief Chris Hill noted how important it is to capture the moments too often overlooked and missed, allowing these firefighters, some in their probationary year, to look back and remember their crew.
